How do you translate the art of sushi into a visual language that feels modern, high-end, yet deeply connected to its cultural roots?
The brief called for a modern, artisanal sushi brand, one that balanced Japanese craftsmanship, cultural authenticity, and sustainability while standing out in a competitive dining scene.
Inspired by Motion, Craft,
and Sensory Experience
Sushi is about movement, precision, and artistry. We brought this to life in the branding by incorporating hand-painted strokes, a visual nod to both the physical act of rolling sushi and the expressive, flowing nature of Japanese ink painting.

Raw, textured brushstrokes to reflect the artistry of sushi-making.
An earthy, organic colour palette inspired by natural ingredients.
Minimalist yet sophisticated typography to balance bold textures with an upscale feel.
