Bringing Economic Data to Life

The Global Beer Economic Impact Microsite was designed to transform dense economic data into a compelling and interactive digital experience. Partnering with Oxford Economics and the World Brewing Alliance, I developed a visually engaging and intuitive platform that allows policymakers, industry leaders, and beer enthusiasts to explore the beer sector’s global economic impact with ease.

Our design approach

  • Turning Data into an Experience: Designed an interactive microsite that transforms static economic data into an intuitive, engaging, and easy-to-navigate platform.

  • User-Centric Accessibility: Developed a clean UI that prioritizes clarity, legibility, and structured navigation to help diverse audiences: from industry leaders and policymakers to consumers, understand key insights at a glance.

  • Strategic Shareability: We introduced custom-designed beer mats featuring key data points, turning physical spaces into shareable moments and significantly boosting engagement across digital platforms.

  • Visual Storytelling: Used infographics, interactive maps, and dynamic visuals to break down economic impact data, making it more engaging and digestible.

  • Brand consistency: The design aligned with the WBA brand identity, using clear typography, structured layouts, and a professional yet engaging visual language.

The Impact

  • Enhanced accessibility and engagement: The microsite transformed complex economic findings into an interactive, user-friendly format, significantly increasing time spent on the site compared to previous static reports.

  • Boosted data visibility: The inclusion of shareable graphics, including beer mats, led to a notable increase in social shares and linkbacks at launch, outperforming similar microsites in engagement metrics.

  • Empowered stakeholders: By making economic data more digestible, industry leaders, policymakers, and analysts could quickly extract key insights, supporting informed decision-making.

  • Scalable and future-proof: The site was designed for ongoing updates, allowing new reports and data sets to be integrated seamlessly in the future.
